I have a Hardinge hlv that I just got and when I turned it on the motor and frame kept jerking around and making all kinds of noise and I got to looking and found that one side of the variable speed pulley was not running true. I took the pulley out and pulled it all apart and it is threaded onto the center shaft with a locking pin. The side that is wobbling the threads are worn so it isn't a tight fit. It looks like the threaded pieces inside the pulleys are bushings. I was wondering if they are and if I can press them out and make a new one?
