Bridgeport as a Drill Press

I'll start out with I'm a hobbiest who is space constrained. I have a series 1J head bridgeport and a 20" WT drill press with power feed. I'm considering reclaiming some space by moving the drill press along and using the bridgeport as the primary drilling machine. I should note that I have a smaller WT and a 17" delta as back ups.. I have a Jacobs 16N and Albrecht 3/8 chucks for the bridgeport.

So given the above what I am giving up by not having the big walker turner? In a hobbiest environment will a Bridgeport function as the primary drill press (and milling machne of course)?

Thanks for your thoughts

Rick
