Hardinge Model H turret rebuild, and 3/4" tooling

Doing a little project here, thought I'd share a bit!

Have had a fantastic '78 DV-59 since my last business, the only machine left from there, always wanted a turret on it... Finally lucked out and got one (along with cutoff attachment), arrived very dirty and well-coated in rust and grunge, but internally quite flawless, besides a bit of damage to the cover which protects the gears (the pawl was out of adjustment so it had been gouging the side of the cover out).

Neglected to take before-photos, but here it is during and after rebuild:

Kept the patina of course...

Now, getting onto the more interesting part of the project: Converting the 5/8 pockets to 3/4, for more tooling options...

got a bushing out (and the clamping groups which were all rusted in tight),

Bored out to a snug slip-fit with 3/4 holders for gauging. Final step, boring the clamp group to suit, will get that done in a few hours and update. Excited to put this unit to work!

Update: conversion to 3/4 tooling is a go... modifying the clamp group was ridiculously easy and it holds the 3/4 shank superbly!
