Hello, I have a personal bridgeport with a Heidenhain TNC145 controller. I have 2 issues....currently. Issue #1 is that the monitor has black specks on the inside of the glass. This makes it very hard to read the prompts. To buy a replant monitor is a grand or so....that I can find. Does anyone know of a way to retro fit with a more readily available monitor with an adapter from the BE 110 type plug on current monitor to a VGA style for newer monitor?
Issue #2 is that the ME102 tape recorder is non functional. Any known issues with relatively easy fixes for this unit? It is getting power but nothing works. OR Is it possible to use a laptop with adapter and software to store programs that were written on the machine? And also pull saved programs from laptop to the controller?
Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
