I just picked up a follow rest for the HLV-H I am renovating. Here's how it looks on the carriage:

Two of the mounting points line up nicely with 5/16-18 tapped holes in the carriage, but the one on the right falls way outside the tapped hole (red arrow). Do I have the wrong follow rest for this lathe? Since the lathe is not together I can't tell for sure if this one will work, but it looks okay. The casting, which is aluminum, is marked KL-6560. Maybe early examples were narrower and they later modified it to give more room for the compound to swing around? If that is the case, I'll keep it and drill another hole in the carriage. Easily done as I have everything apart.
