Placement of the Machine

I bought a J-head Bridgeport recently, and I got it inside the building where my shop is with the help of a fork truck. Now I need to put it in place inside the shop where a fork truck won't go. Can I use a pallet jack to place the machine? I have access to one that has a 5000 pound capacity, but I don't know how easy it is to pull with 2700 pounds of iron on it!
