Mill renovating tools

Hello,

I've have a 1964 series 1 J head mill. The quill power feed, and back gear don't work. Various parts are missing or Jerry-rigged. I've decided to tear it down and replace the broken / missing bits. The first step is the head, though I want to do a complete tear-down and cleaning of the rest of the mill too.

I've got the book "A Guide to Renovating the Bridgeport Series 1 'J' Head Milling Machine, and read through it a couple times. I'm a software developer by trade, but am reasonably mechanically inclined. Reading other peoples PM rebuild threads inspired/convinced me a I can tackle this, if a bit slowly.

There are few tools that I don't have, that I'm not sure exactly what to get.
