I am sure there are many who have utilized U Haul for such a move.
The cargo trailers are 5x9 single axle or 6x12 Tandem. The weight limit for the single axle is 1660. Has anyone used one of the single axle trailers?
I know the tandem axle would be more than enough but the loading ramp is an obstacle at 4 foot long and attached to the trailer. I don't want to start taking the trailer apart. The lift over the side is a good 3 f.t due to the cargo rails not being removable.
The single axle is the perfect size and would be very easy to load.
Then again I am concerned about equipment failure and me having to buy the single axle trailer.
