Hi all
I have a Bridgeport 1S universal mill, it has a 3.0kw 4hp motor with coolant pump and electric feed also.
I have been reading up on here and around the net about phase converters, from what I can understand a digital is the best way to go, however my funds dont stretch that far. At my local machine mart they are having a VAT free day so I was planning on going to get a clarke static converter from there. Im still unsure though because there is some sort of electronics unit on the side of the machine with some fairly complex circuitry on it, would it still be ok to use a static converter?
Thanks, Jake
