Hi
I found a metric Hardinge HLV from 58 im gonna drive far and buy next weekend
They are not common here in Sweden . Never seen one for sale before
Everything I found about shange gears to read is for the Never HLV-H thats why I ask
The seller showed me a short film when he operates the lathe and cutted threads .
It looked very easy and user friedly
The lathe can make all the threads (on the sign I attached a pic on) without any shange gears
Only using the northon gearbox
Is this correct ?
If I wanna cut Inch threads I have to buy a banjo and shange gears the seller said
There is no gears or a banjo at all to be seen behind the hatch
Was shange gears an option or are they lost ?
Grateful for help . Hardinge novice Johan
