Help identifying Bridgeport with different castings

I am tearing into my 1968 serial number BR108564 and there are a couple things a little different than what I have ever seen or found on endless research.

Bridgeport Mill - Google Photos

1. I know the knee cylinder is from a True-Trace machine, so I first thought it might been a factory True-Trace but all the research I can find seems like all of them had a different style ram (which could have been switched back to a standard model).
2. As you can see in the photos my factory ram has additional castings on both side at the front. I can not find anything else that has these. Does anyone have information on this. And to reference back to True-Trace, I can’t find anything on this that doesn’t have a different ram style with the pivoting joint.
