BP 1.5hp 2J Motor Shaft Retaining Clip Size

Does anyone know the circlip/ retaining ring size for the motor shaft on a 1.5hp motor? It's a variable speed 2J head. I took the clutch off and lost the clip and can't seem to find anything that fits at a hardware store?
