broken gib measuring used fit

So had a stuck knee. I read the Epic post argument between Forrest addy and whippin boy http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb...jammed-141376/ ... enjoyable without even needing to do this job. I figured my new to me Bridgeport series 1 j was now parts waiting to be listed. Used a gentle bet of support and lift and cranking carefully and a quart of solvent and she lifts rather well. Mostly i suspect she needed a lot more cleaning. But then i see my gib popped up with the knee lowered gently on a flat head screwdriver pushing the gib up that the head of the gib was broken and. Missing. From the looks of it a long while back.

So used gib ? Should i go ebay and try to match used with broken? New scraped to fit seems beyond noobies talents? Any shops that would take my old one and make a nice fit?
