Are head rotational stop pins a common size ? Is there another name to look for one ?

I bought another Alliant RTV. Alliant is now sold as Sharpe. Sharpe has a machine(TMV and LMV) that seems to have near identical properties to the Alliant RTV series.

The mill is missing the head rotational stop pin.

You know how when you move a machine you have to lay the head down and pull the pin on the left hand side to go beyond 30 degrees ? That's what I mean by a head rotation stop pin. It keeps it from collapsing.

Now, I have another question. I noticed the worm gear bolt for cross tilting the head(to angle on the x plane) just turns. In other words, you have to be able to get the head up, with the head up you have to tighten the four front bolts to hold the head in place because there is no rotational stop pin. Is that normal or does that mean that the worm gear for cross tilt is stripped out ?

I sold my other Alliant so I do not have a way to check the size of the pin or get dimensions. Alliant was meant to be a copy of the Bridgeport but has some metric features.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the dimensions of the stop pin so I could make one on my lathe, or tell me if there is another name I could search for on Ebay to find one. Searching stop pin and similar items produces nothing.

I should have kept the other machine until this one is sorted. I have to replace the longitudinal cross feed nut as well. I need to collect the data as I'm having problems with my hands and knuckles swelling which does not make for ideal machine work.

I'd really appreciate any help.
