Carriage to Bed seals on HLV-H lathe. SN 396

Has anyone mounted the newer plastic seals on the older HLV-H machines. Mine has 3 screws holding the steel plate on, the newer machines have about 7 screws.

I have little interest in D&T additional holes in my carriage
