I've got the hi/low gear assembly put back together and the rear (larger) timing gear on.
I placed the lower portion of the head (that housing the brake) on with the belt. The new belt part number matches the same as the new one that I picked up from H&W. How loose are these belts suppose to be? I feel that the belt is on the loose side but that's coming from my experience from installing timing belts on cars. The BP belt is no where near under the same amount of force as a car's engine.
Also is the disengage- engage lever for the power quill suppose to turn 360 degrees or just 180? My memory is faded on this, but I could of sworn it didn't matter which way you turn the lever to engage the power quill as it would turn 360.
