I have a 1.5 horse Bridgeport running 1 leg off of a 3 horse phase converter. The 2 input legs to the phase converter are fuses with fusetron frs-r-6 amp bussman fuses. I am so trying to take a .177 deep cut about 16 inches long full width with a 5/8 4 fly carbide end mill and I keep blowing one of the fuses. Are the fuses too small? Am I running too small of a phase converter? Or is that just too much for a 1-1/2 horse motor? Any suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated! A really good job hangs in the balance. Thanks!
