Mitutoyo Quill Kit For Bridgeport Mill

I recently purchased a Bridgeport mill and I am installing a Mitutoyo Quill Kit. I have two question 1)The attached picture shows the Quill kit installed on the mill. The Quill kit fits loosely in the Quill stop nut, it is not a precision fit. Is this the way that it is supposed to fit? 2)With the Quill kit installed it interferes with the installation of the Manual Feed Hand wheel. Is there a work around for this?

I'm new to a Mill so any help would be greatly appreciated.
