I'm getting a late-model HLV-H E/M up and running. It sat dormant at the Alcoa plant for awhile before I took possession, and the wipers are dry-rotted. As in, they crumbled to pieces when I tried to remove them for cleaning.
I found the neoprene replacements at Bridgeport Parts: $55 for the left wiper, and $69 for the right (tailstock) wiper :skep:

I also have several lengths of the Kabelschlepp way wipers, which have the copper chip scraper, which seems like it would avoid all the chips that get embedded in the 1-piece neoprene wipers.
Anyone recommend whether I should just replace with the stock neoprene wipers, or is there a better solution?
What does Babin use? I can't tell from these pictures, especially since several of the HLV-H's have the older 2-piece wipers:
