TFB-h...although admittedly I found this out late in the game. It spent about 30 minutes in light rain on the way to the shop, but it needs to be thoroughly cleaned and oiled regardless.
I have experience using HLV-h's; very nice machines, those. This one feels the same, as it should, but obviously lacks threading. I won't know if it was a decent purchase until the Hardinge experts chime in as to the value. It came with the stock Hardinge tool post, a couple holders, 3 MT2 chucks, 2-3 collets (one a 3/4" hex) and a couple soft step chucks.
It'll be a project. The plan is a cleaning, maybe an Aloris AXA, set of collets in 1/16" increments and a DRO. Sometimes the 22" chuck on the bigger lathe just doesn't have the finesse you need (or the revs).
What are these machines worth? As-is and with my "upgrades". EBay is sparse right now- and not indicative when it isn't.
Thanks for all replies.
