Bridgeport J head acceptable table end play

I purchased a 1965 j head replaced the brass acme screw nuts and removed a good amount of backlash. My question is how much end play should my saddle have with the knee I have the gib all the way in and have around 8 thousandths play back and forth when I pull and push on the table unlocked
